The School Leaver Conference is a one day event bringing together schools, employers and empirical evidence, in order to foster understanding, build relationships and provide a sustainable way for employers and schools to interact. Organised by AllAboutSchoolLeavers.co.uk, the first conference was held in October 2016 and the next conference will run in 2017.
The event is essential for anyone involved in school leaver recruitment or careers guidance. We will share best practice and practical ideas that you can take back to your school or company to improve how you work with schools and employers.
HOW IS IT DIFFERENT?
There are two key differences to this conference. Firstly, we bring together school and employers together to hear both sides of the story.
Secondly, all of our workshops are backed up with empirical evidence. Anecdotal case studies are great to help us understand things about the school leaver market, but with wider data we can see larger patterns and understand best practice that can be used at scale.
Watch the video to see the highlights from 2016 and to have an idea of what sorts of things you can expect at the 2017 conference.
